With a structured, technology-driven approach, Milestone Home Design offers refined design solutions for everyday living. Our services cover interior and exterior projects, including styling, sourcing, space planning, and 3D visualization. While providing in-person services to clients in Northeast Ohio, the company also offers virtual options to customers across the United States and Canada.
Meet Devon, founder of Declutter with Devon LLC:
Devon has a master's degree in social work from Case and worked as a social worker for 20 years in various roles. She has always enjoyed working with people and values the relationships she builds with clients over time. Devon gained expertise in managing large quantities of items both as the co-founder of Upcycle Parts Shop, a creative reuse thrift store in Cleveland, and while working as an art teacher. Devon learned firsthand about the overwhelm that can happen at home as a mom of two children. Decluttering and home organizing was a hobby and passion, however after reaping the benefits of living with less, Devon wanted to share this passion with others. She is uniquely positioned to assist with the emotional difficulties that can arise with letting things go. Now, she uses her caring hands-on help to bring peace and ease to individuals and families in their homes.

As the years go by, I aspire for my home to resemble a Hallmark movie, but I can’t quite achieve that vision. I always wish I could have a designer come in and solve the issues for me.
I've also noticed that my friends often feel overwhelmed when it comes to decorating for the holidays. While we gather countless decorations, figuring out how to blend them harmoniously can be tough. Parents are aging and have stopped putting up their holiday decorations because it’s just too much work. Finally, Storing everything afterward is even more intimidating, especially with all the lights and new seasonal additions taking up space.
As I contemplated the upcoming holidays, I had a brilliant idea: I would enlist the help of an interior designer to assist in merging my years of decorations. My visit to a friend's house, where I saw her holiday supplies scattered and disorganized, highlighted the importance of staying organized. I helped her regain control over her growing collection of decorations while also devising a plan for future purchases. This experience reminded me of the challenge of dismantling all the holiday decor and restoring order in a home. Although my kids help a lot, they don’t quite adhere to my method – you know, the "right" way 😂. I began to wonder how many others might be in need of similar help, and it turns out I’m not alone in this struggle!
